MORE PROJECTS by N.Bull
I am pleased to say the club film STAR SIGN is really coming on a pace as these pictures show. Diggy and the lads have been working quite hard getting all the material onto tape. Everyone has worked enthusiastically together and have had good co-operation from the actors. |

Shooting has progressed smoothly and the completion of this part of the project seems to be well in sight. After this there comes the post production editing work and what have-you and I am looking forward to taking some part in this. |
Right in the middle of all this on Saturday 15th June, Jubilee celebrations took place in Rosebery Park Epsom complete with a march past of the local territorial army and the band of the Royal Engineers Volunteers, a pop concert and a variety of acts and side stalls. Several of the members banded together and constructed our own stall advertising our presence but mainly to act as a base for recording the proceedings. |

We had several cameras dotted around the short route of the parade from the Epsom Playhouse -to high street - past the clock tower - right at the Spread Eagle and onwards to the Park. It was a pity that there was hardly any publicity for this event compound by the fact that it also clashed with the England V Argentina football match. The Mayor and two other dignitaries made short speeches which were captured by John Green equipped with a radio mike located high up on the back of John Ellis's truck. All the tapes were collected together for editing and I believe, John Green will be doing this - so we all look forward to seeing the results. Both projects are intended to be completed for our public show in Bourne Hall on 3rd October.
