COMPETITION WINNERS 2011

 
The One minute competition was won by John Gannaway with ‘Hold On’ and John Gannaway was also the runner-up with ‘One Year in One Minute' The Five Minute competition was won by John Gannaway with ‘Lavender Passion’ and Allen Dyke was the Runner up with 'The River Esk.’ The Travelogue was won by John Harwood with his film ‘Bluebell Railway’ with John Gollop as Runner-up with ‘The First of the Costa’s’. The Holiday competition was won by Allen Dyke with his Film ‘Holiday in the Lake District’ with Tim Lowe as Runner Up with ‘Cruising Moods.' The Non Holiday competition was won by Norman Bull with his film ‘Back to Brooklands’ which also won the Sound cup and FOTY. The runner up was John Harwood with his film ‘Did you Know That About Kingston?’
Hold On
This film also won the Ian Golding cup. Finally the Concorde cup was awarded to
John Gannaway's HOLD ON
Barbara Gollop for her film ‘A Wish Fulfilled.' Can I also add my congratulations to all members who entered films in the competitions. As we always say it is not winning that counts but rather the taking part and I am sure that everyone who made a film learned something new about the art of film making.
